Premises
The thorough analysis of production flow, the research into parameters that affect quality, productivity, and order schedule, and the selection of the highest specification standards equipment, were the basis upon which –one of the best investments ever made in the packaging Industry of Greece- was held.
In 1997, with this investment in the Industrial Area of Volos, two production plants merged and now cover a total area of 49.000 square meters, employing 200 workers with a production capacity of approximately 33.000 tons of cardboard boxes annually.
The corrugated cardboard is produced in a machine (corrugator) of 2.5m width and 120m length, fully automated and controlled by a computer network. The unit can make all kinds of corrugated cardboard, such as E, B, C, EB, BC, etc.
The transport of corrugated boards, on-demand, is made by self-propelled vehicles that supply the appropriate processing engines.
The processing of corrugated boards into finished paper packaging products takes place (alternatively) on eight fully automatic machines, depending on the type of carton.
All machines are equipped with printing units of very high precision and capable of printing up to four colors.
The production flow ends with the transportation of the ready-made products, with pick-up vehicles, from the processing machines to the palletization and filming department.
The ready-made products are stored in a state-of-the-art warehouse in absolutely controlled conditions.
For support of the production process, there are auxiliary manufacturing facilities such as the starch glue preparation department, die cuts department, automatic ink making department, and printing polyester materials department.
